Mat Pilates is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core, which span from your hips to your shoulders. Mat Pilates is a series of exercises performed mostly equipment-free, with the moves adapted to work with just your body and a floor mat for cushioning and support.
Reformer Pilates uses a wide variety of exercises performed on the reformer equipment to promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance. Most Pilates reformer exercises incorporate pushing or pulling on the carriage or holding the carriage steady during an exercise as it is pulled on by the springs adding more resistance for our muscles than Mat pilates.
The Jumpboard is an attachment that converts a reformer into a horizontal jumping machine. This “ spring” action increases the cardio of Refiormer Pilates to maximize calorie burn and minimize the impact to your joints all while getting in a full body workout.
Body Rolling Classes
Body Rolling is a unique system that uses specially designed balls for stimulating bone, tendon and muscle. Body rolling is a wonderful addition to any exercise routine to increase muscle tone, flexibility, strengthening and conditioning of the body.
