A native SoCal girl, Samantha was always active and interested in the performing arts, but laughably clumsy. She'd heard about Pilates, and began as a client in the mid 90's. Finding a newfound strength and agility, Pilates became her passion, completing her first teacher training program that year and quickly became a sought-after instructor. A few years and certifications later, she began specializing in Classical Pilates, as taught by Joseph Pilates. "Other styles certainly have a valuable place in the Pilates world, but I love the emphasis on strength and technique in the original work." Samantha is known for her energetic instructing style and love of 'teaching' the work to clients and other instructors. "I have two favorite quotes about Pilates that I live by...'Aging is giving up to gravity, Pilates fights gravity' - Romana K. and 'Our muscles should obey our will' - JP."
